People in a declared Commonwealth Hotspot will receive additional support from Monday August 2:

• workers who lose 20 or more hours of work will receive $750 per week
• those who lose between 8 and 20 hours of work (or one full day) will receive $450 per week
• Anyone who is currently on an income support payment will receive an additional $200 per week, providing they have lost more than 8 hours work per week.
