A jointly funded package from the federal and Victorian governments includes:

• A $156 million Business Continuity Fund which will offer $5,000 grants to businesses affected by capacity limits, including gyms, cafes, restaurants, caters and hairdressers, with CBD businesses eligible for an addition $2,000
• $70 million for a Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund, which will offer grants of up to $20,000 to larger licensed venues that rely on higher volumes of customers, with CBD venues eligible again for another $2,000
• An $80 million Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme and Landlord Hardship Fund targeted at small to medium commercial tenancies and landlords
• Grants up to $5,000 for small businesses (with payrolls of up to $10 million per year) that have experienced a reduction of at least 70% in revenue
• A further $9.8 million in support for alpine businesses affected by the reduction in tourism during the usual winter peak, with grants of up to $20,000.
